Smoky Mountain Kayaking - Guided Lake Kayaking Tours, Fishing & Classes (865) 705-8678
At Smoky Mountain Kayakingwe believe in using the best equipment on the market today. From kayaks to paddles to life jackets, your safety is our first priority! Your guide carries safety, navigation and communications equipment so you will be in good hands at all times. We will match you to one of our kayaks based on height, weight, and experience to ensure that your paddling adventure is safe and comfortable. If you can sit upright with your legs extended forward, you can kayak. No Experience Needed!

You will want to bring with you whatever you wish to eat or drink. The "six pack" type coolers are ideal to carry your snacks, lunch and bottled water or can drinks (please no glass) for the duration of your tour.  Each kayak has ample room to carry all of your gear and food. We will take shore breaks along the way for snacking.

We do recommend good sun protection … Wide-brim hats, sunglasses, and plenty of sun block. Most importantly, you will want to bring some good protective footwear (dive booties, water shoes, even old tennis shoes you do not mind them getting wet) so that you can get out of your kayak and wade in the shallows for a refreshing dip, a stroll along a deserted island, or just to stretch out your legs. Don't forget your waterproof camera!
