Kayak Fishing Tours
You have read about this in magazines. You've watched them on fishing shows, and you even seen them on our lakes and rivers... it's time to join their ranks!
Kayak Fishing is exploding across the nation due to it's convenience for launching without a boat ramp, abilities to stealthily approach shallow waters of less than six inches, and entering waters where "No Motors Allowed" are a thing of the past!
Smoky Mountain Kayaking offers Full and Half Day kayak fishing tours for those men and women looking to expand their fishing opportunities. No Experience Needed!!
So come me join us for some tight lines and fun on the waters of the Smokies. We start each tour with your guide giving you the basics in kayaking and tips for fishing from a kayak platform. Take advantage that your guide can provide you with a wealth of information on the different types of kayak models, rigging, and tactics for kayak fishing, but more importantly, they are there for your safety.
So grab your favorite rod and try your luck at fishing from a kayak for the day or do you deserve to spend a few days fishing and living on a floating lodge or lake front cabin? Give us a call today to schedule your fishing trip.

Multi-Day Fishing Trips
Ever notice how fast the day goes when you're fishing? Just when you "dial them in" it's time to head back to the ramp. Between driving, prepping your boat, getting bait, and finally getting on the water, hours past and it seems to discourage some folks from taking the time to go fishing. Say it isn't so Joe! What if you could wake up, sit down to a home-cook breakfast, then walk oh...about 50 feet to your waiting kayak? From there, you can be casting to fish in about 10 minutes, knowing that you can fish till your arm falls off! Feel like putting in over 8 hours a day fishing on the lake? Then you need to hang out with TonyB the owner who is known for his 10-12 hour fishing marathons!
Our Multi-Day Fishing Trips provide you and your party Everything you need for a great fishing experience on beautiful Norris Lake. Staying in a luxury cabin, or floating lodge, all meals, kayaks & gear, support pontoon boat and your kayak guide are all included.
This is not your Grandpappy's fishing shack! We are talking about newly constructed cabins and luxury floating lodges with all of the amenities from king & queen-size bedrooms, washer/dryers, full size kitchens, LCD televisions with DVD players, full size bathrooms and hot tubs. Smoky Mountain Kayaking does it right and had to do it's homework to find the right location before we could offer this great fishing package at a great price!
We also offer non-fishing rates for friends and family that want to come along for the food and fun minus the fishing.
And let's talk about the fishing. Norris Lake is considered one of the top ten lakes nationally for it's clarity, water quality, and diverse fish species. Largemouth, smallmouth, trout, crappie, bream, walleye, sauger, catfish, and striped bass are all represented in population and quality size. Nothing like a 25 Lbs striped bass pulling you around in your kayak.
And with the Autumn cool temperatures driving the jet skis and recreational boaters away till Spring, the fishing becomes trophy size time! We fish year round at Smoky Mountain Kayaking taking advantage of the mild winters and relative constant water temperatures.
