Tellico Lake & Citico Creek

With its 34 miles in length, Tellico Lake offers a variety of paddling opportunities from pristine ancient creeks and chilly headwaters to historical sites such as Fort Loudon. 

Paddle Citico Creek and its hardwood canopy as you float over waters used by the Smallmouth Buffalo Fish during their annual spawning run.  A bit of a history buff?  Spend some time exploring the grounds of the Fort Loudon Historical Site, Blockhouse and the Cherokee Tribal Council Site.

Abrams Creek & Chilhowee Lake
Within mhour paddle into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park's quiet side. 
 The town named Chilhowee, located at the confluence of Abrams Creek and what was once the Little Tennessee River, since dammed, is now submerged and called Chilhowee Lake. Spanning 1,747 acres, it is nine miles long. The creek was named after Old Abram, Cherokee chief of the town of Chilhowee.

 Urban Tour
Spend some time paddling the Tennessee River and Downtown Knoxville.  We can start at mile 0 of the river, circle Island Home as private planes fly into the airport, then head downriver. See the beauty and history of Knoxville's Volunteer Park and the home of the University of Tennessee's Football, Neyland Stadium.  Arrangements can be made for maybe a bite to eat at the famous riverfront restaurant, Calhouns.

 Sunset Paddle
Stress dissolves when exposed to water. Take in some spectacular sunset views on the lake of your choosing. This 3 hour tour begins promptly at 5:30 with some paddle time as the day begins to wind down and the wildlife head down to the water's edge. Then watch the sun slowly sink for a spectacular sunset.  A great way to end the day or the start of your evening.

 Full Moon Paddle
There is nothing like paddling the Smokies under a full moon.  Come join us for an evening of kayaking as we watch the night skies come alive.  We offer this 3 hour tour the evening of a full moon and the night before and after so everyone has a chance to experience the magic of night paddling during this very limited group size event.  And for you guys out there, what a more memorable way to say, "Will you marry me".  Give Tony a call and we can discuss your secret plans!
